Church and Coronavirus19
(April 30, 2020)
The Lutheran Church of Hope is resuming worship services beginning May 3rd.
We require that everyone wear masks. If you do not have one, one will be provided. We ask that everyone spread out in the sanctuary, maintaining a distance of at least six feet between one another. Family groups, may of course, sit together. We also urge those in the "high risk" category (those in our nursing homes and assisted living facilities, those with compromised immune systems, etc.) continue to stay at home. Everyone, use your better judgment. If for whatever reason you deem it best not to come to worship yet, don't come. Err on the side of caution. Your decision will be supported and highly honored by the fellowship.
We remind everyone that sermons are posted on our church website. Click the "sermons" tab, choose "Sunday Sermons;" scroll down to and select the sermon you wish to read (read also the texts provided) and read. Spend some time in prayer, and go ahead and sing -- sing out to the Lord! "Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God" (Colossians 3:16).
In addition to sermons, a daily "Morning Meditation" is provided on our website for your daily spiritual nourishment, consisting of a Bible verse/passage to read and meditate on (pray it, pray through it, meditate on it). You will find it on our "Ministries" tab.
I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD!" (Psalm 122:1)
