Reformation Event

October is the month we Lutherans celebrate the Reformation, started my Martin Luther, on October 31, 1517.  Our 2024 Reformation Event will take the form of a sermon series, given throughout the month of October.  Each Sunday's sermon is a spin-off of a famous quote of Luther's, a quote dealing with a critical doctrinal matter.  We invite you to come and worship with us, and hear what Luther had to say -- teachings of his which changed Church and Society for the better and forever.  Worship begins at 9:00 a.m. with Holy Communion served on the first and third Sundays.  The schedule is as follows:

October 6 -- Scripture.  "I did nothing; the Word did everything"

October 13 -- Free Will.  "Mankind has a free will; but it is free to milk cows and to build houses, nothing more"

October 20 -- The Sacraments.  "Promises which have signs attached to them"

October 27 -- Truth.  "Peace if possible, truth at all costs"

Come join us Sunday morning.  If you're unable, you can access these, and any other, sermons on our website sermon page.
